# Handback

Lycato is designed so the company can leave without becoming a reconstruction
project.

## Local company

The company record is already plain files in a git repository. Copy or clone
the repository and keep its full history. `lycato backup` creates the current
portable archive format; the internal format id remains `lycato-backup-v1` for
restore compatibility.

## Hosted beta

1. Sign in and open **Settings**.
2. Download the signed company inventory.
3. Request removal and enter the confirmation phrase exactly.
4. Keep the generated removal receipt with the inventory.

Removal covers Lycato's hosted-beta data only. It does not claim to delete
independent accounts in other AxySuite products or external services.
